Allthough Borderlands came out yesterday, you may have to try to find some time to squeeze this in, Activision’s much hyped DJ Hero rolls out today. If you’re tired of the Rock Band/Guitar Hero mechanics, and/or want to be the cool nerd on the block, put on your hip threads, get your huge headphones out, cancel your date tonight, and pick up this baby. So far reviews are pretty solid, IGN gave it a 9.0. One thing though, just like its bretheren, it dosen’t come cheap:
* DJ Hero with Turntable Controller for PS2: $100
* DJ Hero with Turntable Controller for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii: $120
* DJ Hero Renegade Edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii: $200
The “Renegade Edition” includes “premium Renegade turntable controller, case, stand and exclusive DJ Hero Renegade 2-CD pack from Jay-Z and EMINEM.” It was cool that they even included the PS2 in this, as it is a much cheaper system for the gamer on a budget.
