Only something like this could be birthed in Japan, but it is only a matter of time before this catches on in the United States. You basically put in a 100 Yen coin (about $1.10), and you get a handmade burger. It’s a bit rigged however, and therein lies the catch, the vending is actually a bit hand operated, so if you want a couple of burgers, you have to go inside. I could see this being used at McDonald’s or something in the future, when we are all replaced by robots for manual labor..
